How to use GVS food for better production of table eggs?

1. Reminder

1.1-Objectives production

- At the age of 25-28 weeks laying rate should reach 90%
- The laying curve must be good
- The mortality rate must be less than 1% during spawning.

1.2-zootechnical parameters to achieve

- Weight of chicks at the end of the 5th week
More weight to 5 weeks, the higher the eggs are heavy, long lasting peak spawning, the mortality rate is low during the spawning period.

- Rate of weight uniformity birds
More batch is uniform, faster laying up, the peak is higher and mortality is low

- Average length of the feet of the birds and the uniformity ratio of leg length
- If these parameters are not met, the farmer should not commit to laying
- It should sort and prepare topics for laying the weight and restart other

2 - Food GVS for the production of table eggs

- Food GVS chick growth egg: it is presented in two forms

  • Food GVS chick growth ponte 1: 0 to 4 weeks of age. At this level, the granules are broken and sieved (size 0.8 to 1.8 mm).
  • Food GVS chick growth egg 2: 5 to 6 or 8 weeks of age: at this age the food is in the form of granules broken between 1.8 and 3.2 mm size.
  • Food GVS chick growth egg 2: 5 to 6 weeks of age
  • If the target weight is reached, we must continue the food until the 7th or 8th week
  • The average recommended weight is 115% or 120% of the weight of the standard.

- Food GVS chick 7 or 9 weeks at first egg

  • Use at the 7th week if the recommended weight is reached;
  • It is in the form of powder, the raw materials are ground with a sieve 6mm
  • At the end of the 14th week, the farmer must check the weight and consistency of the herd.
  • If the target weight is reached, it must sort to determine who will soon give the first egg.

- Food GVS hen egg 1 to 5%

  • Used from 1 to 5% egg laying
  • This food is also presented in the form of powder (sieve 6mm for grinding raw materials)

- Food GVS laying 90%
It is distributed and rationed according to age:

  • 5% rate of lay at 45 weeks of age. Must ration food between 110 to 115 g per subject per day. Do not exceed 120 g.
  • After 45 weeks of age, one can rationalize between 105 and 110 g per subject per day
  • Note that we have not talked about the food laying 85% because the food is already withdrawn from our range.
  • As we have not talked about pre spawn, spawning meadow is also deleted from our range.
